Looks good and the price is not bad. Blade needs to have a better edge put on it but it will do for now. If one is looking good back yard cutting blade this is it.

I didnt buy this japanese sword for a display piece or so that i can learn iaido and pretend to be a samurai from feudal japan.No i bought this sword cause its well made, sharp as hell, and battle ready. It'll get the job done if i cant get to my gun on time,It sits right under my bed and gives me piece of mind. Its a great sword,full tang, quality brass fitting, heat temperd steel,AWESOME.

I own a few swords, this one however is my favorite.

This sword is a beautiful sword, and such a bargain. The Tsuba (hand guard) is absolutely gorgeous, the pommel is secured tightly, and the sword is extremely well balanced. The blade in beautiful as well, you can see that it's folded steel and mine came extremely sharp. The scabbard is nicely crafted and fits the sword perfectly. On the scabbard, the sageo and the kurikata are secured beautifully.

It's legit. Balanced. Strong. And sharp. Well worth the money.

well built, looks incredible, im no samurai, but i feel like i could fight off an angry moose with this.

I am a sword collector. Not the decorative type, I love the functional battle ready type. This sword is both in my eyes. It is well crafted with good balance would be good for a Zombie Apocalypse. It arrived nice and shard of course I will fine tune it. After I write this I want to see what else they have to offer.

I was thrilled when I opened the heavy tubes containing my purcheses. The quality and price tend to lean more to quality. That is something you never seem to get anymore. Wow, What a Katana. Great Balance and wicked Sharp right out of the box. Have not found a Katana this well made at the price I paid. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quaility Katana at a good price.

My first katana and I love it. Well balanced blade and the fact that they engrave for free is nice. I got the electroplated black instead of red. The way they ship it is fantastic. Completely wrapped up in Styrofoam to ensure safe overseas travel. I would definitely buy again. Detail on the katana is nice too. Hope this helps.

Great sword, expecially for the price. The blade looks great and feels very high quality. It came sharp, but not razer sharp. You can still cut paper with it if you wanted.

this is a fine weapon. It came sharp as a razor from the factory, still wrapped and oiled. The saya is wooden, no rattle and the sword will not fall out under duress. The hamon is real, not wire brushed, as other reviewers have stated. I agree with the previous poster, this is no toy. The Blade is undamaged after cutting the box it came in into slithers, and then a bleach bottle filled with water clean in half in one clean stroke. In practiced hands, this katana could make an attacker, or would be attacker, wish they hadn't crossed you in the first place. Zombies would fall in droves before the might of this blade!!!
