This sword is really cool! It is a really strong sort of plastic material. It is strong, and doesn't seem like it will break for a long time. It also came in like 3 days...with standard shipping! Would definitely buy again.

I don't know a lot about swords, but I did a lot of research before buying it because it was a gift. Prompt delivery, gorgeous blade, very sharp. I couldn't find anything else as good as this for the price. You could definitely find better, but you'd be paying at least hundreds of dollars more. My boyfriend was ecstatic when I gave it to him! :)

wellll, it's not perfect. they never are. i do not expect perfection for 320 bux. the blade has 2 or 3 small blemishes, little scratches or marks. not a big deal. if i use it a few times, i will do worse. for the most part, it looks like it has never been used. quite happy with this purchase.this is the 2nd smallest of the set. the spring sakura is the smallest(and my favorite), the other two are pretty beastly, and unwieldy. i have not bent any of them yet, and they clean up pretty easily (stay off the mirror finish part when rubbing, i accidentally dulled a few inches of mine on one of the other swords). behold, the whole dragon king 4 seasons set...

This is my first sword. It came in perfect condition. The handle and wrapping were tight. The blade was very nice with no defects. The sword has a good edge but needed some final sharpening to slice stuff up. I filled a plastic bottle with water and it busted/cut it some and knocked it into the bushes. I sharpened it a little and re-tried my test. It sliced through with so little resistance it was a little scary. This thing is ready to go now. I also waxed the scabbard and it really made it shine. If its as tough as the videos show...its a keeper. I also bought a bokken to practice with.....which was a good call because a mistake might cost me some stitches or worse. :D

Sword came in quickly. Blade quality and handle is very nice. Great for form practice. I bought a new guard from same company and I fell in love. Is truly full tang had to remove pins and handle to replace guard and went back together very tight. So over all you do get what you pay for. If u want a nice functional katana this is for you.

For anyone interested in buying an affordable katana, I suggest that you do some homework first. There are several major manufacturers, mostly in China, making swords these days, but quality is going to vary.

This item really lives up to it's video hype. It has so far, cut everything I have swung it at with little to no problem. I would definitely recommend this Battle ready Katana to anyone who needs a Zombie Apocalypse weapon!

Wasn't expecting much at this price point but the katana delivered was very nice, pommel, tsuba, wrapping all very tight,the blade looked gorgeous as well as functional,way more sword than I need at my skill level (which is zero). Maker and seller delivered a very nice product that I am more than happy with and can display proudly. Thank you Amazon for bringing me this wonderful deal.

I wanted to give this a five but soon after getting mine I noticed a scuff on hand guard taking off the dark brown color and leaving a shiny brass look but other then that nice sword good quality

Very impressive right out of the box. Well packaged. I purchased this as a gift for a student. The blade is solid and sharp - the quality it apparent. The blade is tight very tight in the saya (scabbard.) The katana itself is very well balanced.

This sword is a magnificent quality for a sword that could(should) cost much more. I am very pleased with my purchase, this is an excellent sword

Just recived my katana,iam vary pleased.definlety would do a number on some,zoombie's.it's the real deal.you can't go wrong for the price.

My first ever Katana. Very nice and well balanced. It has a decent edge and does the paper slicing thing well. Could be sharper but in a self defense situation, it would cut my attacker with ease!

This shirasaya sword is a beauty, is very strong. can cut thru bamboo and I'm in love with this sword. I recommend this katana sword who collect o battle to buy it you will love it.
